My Game Presentaion

We did our final game on Wednesday and it was hard.I was reallt nervous about doing it.We had a lot to do before our presentaion. There was alot of things not workimg with our game.The litlle ghost wasn't working and it wasn't keep score right.To make it harder Nathan didn't show up for the presentaion.The people in New York liked our game and gave us good comments on it. I thought that we were going to do reallt bad on it but we did really good and im glad its over.

We have done alot in our game so far.We have most of our levels done in our game.I think our game has come a long way sense the beggning of the year.Our game presentaions are next week and I think it is going to be hard.We are almost finished with our game but I don't think that we are going to be finished. We have a few more things to do in our game. We have a few more levels to finish and we have to get them to work.I think that the kids next year should do this if they like games but if they don't they shouldn't do it.

We were on of the teams that enter the contest.I think that the contest is been hard so far because we have deadlines to meet and we are no were near being finished with our game.I have learned alot of new things in flash when we did the tutorials.I learned how to make things blur and fade.I also learned how to get things to move on a path and make it move with the arrow keys.I think the best part in the game will be when you catch one of the ghost because we are going to have them explode.

I looked at the WV MANIACS page and I liked some of the stuff they have used but I don't think that ant of there stuff would be useful in our game.If I were them would work on some game tutorials so that they could make there game a lot better. I don't have a favorite part of the game because they only have a few things on their page but if I had to pick something it would be there buttons they made.

I think the hardest part of our presentation was talking to David. After we started talking to him it got a lot easier. I like when he told us that we took a classic game and made it into a new game. I think our game could use some changes but not a lot. I would change they that our character looks by making him look like he is real.I think the game will look different in the end. I hope that it looks like a pacman game put with a different consept.

I thought this was a hard lesson to do. The hardest part of this lesson was we had so many snow days and that made it hard to make the powerpoint. The easest thing was finding something to show as our demo because we have done a lot of work. When we watched the seventh graders give their presentation it look easy to do but I think it is going to be hard because i'm going to me nervse because i'm afraid that i'm going to mess up when i'm reading the slides from the powerpoint. I am also afraid that we did the powerpoint wrong and get a bad grade.

The fun part of this topic was when I finished.That was the funest part because this was a really hard lesson to do. It took me forever to get the secnes right. Then Ihad a hard time getting the buttons to work. The hardest part for me was getting the scenes to stop flashing and makeing the answers buttons and getting them to go to the right and wrong seen. The thing Iam look ing foward to is getting the game finished because this has been a hard class so far and I think it is going to get harder.

Remebering Jordan McClanahan

On January 20th the Sandy River Middle Tigers were playing a basketball game against the Mount View Warriors when Jordan collapsed on the court. They did CPR on him to the ambulance came and he was rushed to the hospital. Some of his friends made a power point about him. When I saw the power point I started to cry. He has a twin brother named Joesph. He was taking it good until the funeral on Sunday. Every one was huddled around him trying to make him feel better. Are Math Games Fun?

Math games can be fun and educational at the same time. The have to be fun so that kids get interested in them. The game needs to have good characters so that kids think it will be fun. There is a lot of fun games on fun brain and mathplayground. The games has to have a story behind it and a hero and a villian. The teacher can make up something to go along with the lesson she is teaching. They can also make like a little play to make it more interesting.I choose this video because it is someone playing a math game.

Adding Sound and Interaction

These were two of the easy lessons that we have done and they were fun to. I thought these lesson were the fun to do because they were easy to learn. When we first started these lesson they were hard to understand. On the sound lesson I couldn't get the sound to save to the computer. Then the flash program messed up on the computer. The adding interaction lesson was a lot easier than adding sound. The lesson had a link to tell us what to do and that is what made it easier.

The game that I liked the most was transtar. It was very fun to play. It was very educational too. The game purpose is to teach you how to filp shapes over the x and y axis. I learned how to flip shapes 90 and 180 degrees.there are some other sites that can teach you math too.There is coolmath,funbrain,and studyisland.

When I grow up I would like to be a doctor. I want to be able to save someones life. I want to be a doctor because they are consider heroes. I they save lives and that is what I want to do when i get older. hey also get to make a lot of money. They also are respected and that is why I want to be doctor. This was a easy topic to learn. Some of it was fun but some of it was boring.They part I liked the most was making the button.The part I didn't like was writing the actonscript.This has been one of the easiest lessons that we have done all year.I choose this video because it has something to do with navigation.

I have learned some new stuff in globaloria. I have learned how to draw in the flash program.I learned to make a button in flash.We have learned how to make scenes.I have learned to listen to my partners.I know how to upload stuff to the team page and to my project page.Some of this stuff has been hard but some of it has been easy.I have had to get some help on some of it but on other stuff I was able to help other people.I choose this video because it is our paperportotype.

I have learned a lot about flash sense I have been in globaloria. There is some of it I like and there is some of it I don't like. I have learned to draw in flash. My role in my gloaloria team is the flash coder.I am good at finding the right code for something. I always agree with my team because they always have good ideas. The thing I look foward to is working in the flash program. I want to worf in flash because it is fun to do. The inspiration for this game is to help kids who don't understand fractions. I have played eucational games om studyisland, funbrain, and coolmath. I haved learne alot a sttuff. I have learned how to do the pythgorean thereme, I have learne how to multiply an divdie fractions. I think it can great a good atmosphere if the game is eductional, buy if the game is not educational it could make them leat interested in learning. I also think that educational games can make kids smarter and other games will make them want to goof of in school and act like the people in the game. I think it has been fun so far this year and I like what we are doing in the class because i think it is fun to do. The think I find fascinating in globaloria is that we get to do some fun stuff because I thought it was going to be boring. I have learn how to make a carrot on the flash program. Is the internet safe?

It is important to know that the internet is not safe. They have dirty sites on their that kids can access very easily. They also could star talking to someone on the internet that is a child molester and the kid could get in trouble or get hurt by talking to the man. We are not safe online. If someone gives out personal information someone could come to their house and hurt them. I think the internet is dangerous because the parents of kids will not monitor what their child does online. It is also dangerous because kids don't ask their parents what is safe website for them to get on. I choose this video because I think it is really imformative about computers

My likes and dislikes about math

I like math sometimes but other times it is really hard. The best thing I like about Math is fractions. They are really easy and easy understand. I also like multiplication tables. Most of them are hard at first but when you get use to it gets easier. The thing I don't like in math is doing order of operations. One thing I dislike about math is order of operations. I don't like it because it confuses me most of the time I don't understand it. Another thing I dislike is irrational and rational numbers. The reason I don't like this is because it takes to long.
